Auto Cycle Union - East Midlands Centre
The Auto Cycle Union (ACU) is the governing body for motorcycle sport in Great Britain. Founded in 1903, the ACU is responsible for organising and regulating motorcycle competitions, including trials, motocross, road racing, and many other disciplines.
The ACU works to promote motorcycle sport, ensure rider safety, and maintain high standards of competition across all levels, from grassroots clubs to international events.
The East Midlands Centre (EMCC) is one of the ACU's regional centres, covering Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, and surrounding areas. Scunthorpe MCC is proudly affiliated with the ACU EMCC.
The EMCC coordinates motorcycle sporting activities in the region, supports affiliated clubs, and helps organise regional championships and events.
The 2026 EMCC Championship grading list organises riders by skill level to ensure competitive and fair trials throughout the season.
